Once every month an Elder Fund offering is taken. In 2009, we saw $19,000 come in to help the needy. We want you to know that each person who comes in for help is first and foremost given the good news of Jesus’ saving grace. In 2009, 15 people came to know Christ through coming to Parkside for financial help.
In addition to providing for physical needs when deemed appropriate, we also have financial counselors who go over people’s budgets and bills and help them get financially solid. Because so many in this area speak Spanish, we have bilingual financial services.
