Our Mission:
Parkside is a family of faith committed to intentionally transforming our community and world with the love of Jesus.
Parkside Church is here to help you engage in the love of Jesus! If you aren't used to church, that might sound a little strange. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that he came to earth as a man, was crucified and rose again three days later. That is pretty significant: it proved He is God, showed that death can be defeated, and that God loves us.
Jesus offered eternal life to everyone who believes in him. When he rose from the dead, we got solid proof that he can make good on that offer. Even more, Jesus said eternal life really starts right away in the quality of life he gives us. This doesn't mean Christians have good luck, or get tons of money or anything like that. Instead, it means that he fulfills the greatest longing of our heart: To know God and live in His love.

In 2020, Richard and Heather joined the team here at Parkside and are excited to see how God will continue to transform the community of Camp Verde and the world.

He is passionate about teaching the Word of God in context and seeing how it merges with our current culture. He loves seeing people connect to Jesus and with the amazing body of believers at Parkside. When he is not at Parkside, he is found spending time with his wife, hiking, running, or riding a bike.
Nick Stone
Youth Pastor
Nick has been attending Parkside Community Church since he was young. He was baptized here when he was 7 years old, and now continues his service to God, alongside his wife Nayeli, as the Youth Pastor. Nick is dedicated to God, his wife, and seeing Camp Verde’s youth be transformed by encountering Christ’s perfect love inside a safe and loving environment

Aaron Dupuy
Worship Director

Aaron has been serving at Parkside since December 2018. He and his wife Chelsea love being engaged in the worship of God and in helping in any way they can. Aaron is passionate about leading God's people in authentic worship and establishing a culture of family and friendship. Aaron and Chelsea have four kids that keep their world rocking!
Joshua Sugata
Director of Spiritual Growth
Joshua joined the Parkside team with a heart to help others grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. With years of experience in discipleship, teaching, and ministry leadership, he is passionate about equipping believers to live out their faith with purpose and boldness. Joshua loves seeing people encounter God through His Word and walk in the freedom and identity Christ offers. Outside of the office, you’ll find Joshua spending time with his family or engaging in meaningful conversations over good coffee.
Stacey Sugata
Childrens Director
Stacey brings energy, creativity, and a deep love for kids to her role as Children’s Director. She has a long history of serving in children’s ministries and homeschooling, and she is passionate about creating a fun and safe environment where children can discover the love of Jesus. Stacey believes in partnering with parents to help raise the next generation of Christ-followers.
Outside of ministry, Stacey enjoys adventuring with her family, crafting, and making lasting memories with her daughters, Anastasia and Arabella.
Chayla Kuamo'o
Office Assistant
Chayla Kuamo’o serves as the Front Office Assistant and feels blessed to support the daily ministry of the church. In her role, she helps keep the office organized, greets guests, manages communication, and assists staff and ministries wherever needed. Chayla has a heart for people and loves creating a warm, welcoming first impression for everyone who connects with the church.
Her time here has strengthened her faith and deepened her appreciation for community, service, and the many ways God shows up in everyday moments. She is grateful to be part of a church family that truly cares.
Outside of work, Chayla enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and their four boys. Their family loves creating art, doing crafts together, and spending time outdoors whenever they can.
